Chandas.org is a fun & intuitive tool to get hands on with indic prosody. It aims to be unobtrusive and provide feedback live as you compose (in Kannada, Telugu, Gujarati, and Devanagari for now). Chandassu is best learnt by writing poems, it is hard to look up rules for beginners and get their poem validated. Chandas.org aims to lower the barrier of entry and make writing poems fun.

English stress prosody is also available as an explicit input choice. Its larger pronunciation pack waits politely offstage until English is selected, then adds contextual alternate readings, accentual beats, rhyme evidence, and guided poetic forms without elbowing into the Indic meter list. The Indic composer keeps its usual startup and Guru–Laghu rules.

A few years ago @amshumankr and I discussed the need for such an app, specifically to use in flame-wars on twitter, a simple rule "diss all you want, BUT in-verse" would make the world a better place. It was decided that I would implement it. Bought the domain immediately and wrote the base logic for prastāra, the rest.... had to wait for AI to catch up :-) ... Hope you enjoy it.
